Christian Smaistrla is an Associate Wealth Manager and Employee Benefits Specialist with The Greensage Group.  Before helping clients plan for their future, Christian was helping military men and women with their medical needs as an Emergency Medical Technician and Hospital Corpsman in the United States Navy.  He attended the University of South Carolina and the University of Southern California and went on to follow his other calling—financial planning.

Christian joined the firm in 1999 and wears many hats.  In addition to being an Associate Wealth Manager, Christian plays a crucial role in making sure the office runs smoothly—handling technology and compliance issues for the firm.  Christian is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary® which ensures he has sufficient knowledge and experience needed to do what is right for the client at all times, to act in good faith, avoid conflicts of interest, and place the client’s interests ahead of his own.  He also holds Series 6, Series 63 securities registrations with LPL Financial,  Life and Health Insurance licenses and is currently working on the Certified Financial Planner Designation.

Christian and his wife, Jeanne, have two boys: Brendan and Donovan.  When he’s not at the office, and he’s at the office a lot, Christian likes to spend time with his family or relax taking pictures, dabbling on the computer, hunting and fishing.
